Welcome back for another Clean&Simple die cutting episode.
This post is from the bi-weekly “Clean & Simple Die Cutting” series (retired). You can view all posts from this series by clicking here.
Today I’m sharing a fun birthday card with a colorful hexagon background. Imagine these hexagons are colorful balloons all floating in the air!
I used a Hexagon die from Spellbinders (retired, you can use this one instead) to create the die cut elements for my card (I have another card featuring hexagons where I used the same set from Spellbinders, but a smaller die; you can view the card and video here and one more card on the Ukrainian version of my blog here).

VIDEO TUTORIAL
As always, sharing a quick video tutorial to show you how this card was made. You can watch it here or on my Youtube channel.
Like this video? Please give it a big thumbs up (you can do this on Youtube video page right under the video) and share with a crafty friend! Drop me a comment too, I love hearing from you!
CARD DETAILS
I used sequins from different manufacturers and adhered them on top of the hexagons, I tried to match their colors as much as possible so that they would add some extra texture to the card
the Birthday Wishes banner was heat embossed in white on white cardstock which I previously colored using an orange Copic marker to match the color of the hexagon behind it
I embellished the card with white twine, which I wrapped around the card and tied into a bow

I have never been a big hexagon fan but I think I am now. What a beautiful card. Love all the soft colors. This would be nice for an Easter card.
