Card a month is a monthly video series on my blog. Once a month, usually on the 2nd or 3rd Friday I share a new handmade card along with a video tutorial. I hope you’ll enjoy!
Hi everyone! Welcome back for another Card A Month video. Today I’m sharing a Thinking of You Butterfly card using supplies from Spellbinders and Simon Says Stamp.
I used a stencil from Simon Says Stamp and Spellbinders ink to create a background. Next I die cut a butterfly out of black cardstock and vellum and layered the two together to create dimension.
I also added a few super large gems from Teresa Collins and a bit of black twine to finish my card.
As always, I’m sharing a video tutorial to show you how this card was made. You can watch it here or on my Youtube channel. Enjoy!

Pretty card–i’m not familiar with the Spellbinders tag dies. It looks like their folder packaging would be easy to store.
thank you, Julie! They recently re-designed their packaging to also work as storage pockets. Very convenient indeed.
