Today I’m sharing my new layout based on a sketch from Art Ugolok. This is 29th Art Ugolok’s sketch for me as a design team member.
Layout is based on this sketch, I rotated it 90 degrees counterclockwise:
The layout is about a stop we made in Death Valley on our way to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. I was truly fascinated with the beauty of this place. The landscape reminded me of the landscape of a Sinai peninsular in Egypt. Hoping we can one day come back here for more than just a few hours.

This background was inspired by a layout I saw in the Elizabeth Kartchner book from Northridge Publishing. I had a lot leftover chipboard letters so I decided to use them in an unusual way on a layout.
