I am so excited to share this card and video today, I have no idea why, but I just am 🙂 . I used dies from the Victorian Garden Collection from Spellbinders along with some really pretty Dear Jane Papers from DCWV.
I’m also sharing this on the Spellbinders blog, I have written instructions and step-by step photos there as well.
I used a gorgeous One-of-a-kind Card for a one-of-a-kind Person sentiment from Altenew for this project, I happen to like it very much and I think it matches perfectly to the card I’m sharing today.
I also used a new Topiary Treasures S4-529 die from the Victorian Garden Line. I die cut and embossed the shrubs out of gold mirror card (which I happen to adore) and cut a planter out of brown paper. There are two kids of shrubs and planters in this set and I love both of them; planters can also be used with other sets, maybe with some flowers and greenery.
I used S4-526 Fancy Diamond and S4-527 Decorative Fancy Diamond to create the rest of the elements for this project. I cut and embossed two frames by using dies from the Fancy Diamond shape and stacked them slightly offsetting the top one (I tip I learned from amazing Becca Feecken).
I also added some ribbon from May Arts – I threaded it through Decorative Fancy Diamond which I cut/embossed out of gold card and tied it into cute little bows. I never really was a fan of ribbon, but now I can see I’m changing my feelings towards this product and begin to enjoy it more and more.
VIDEO TUTORIAL
I’m sharing a video tutorial for this project on my Youtube channel (where I now have more than 6000 subscribers, yay! THANK YOU ALL), you can also watch it below:
Like it? Please give it a thumbs up, thanks!
ADDITIONAL INSPIRATION
I also have one more card to share today. I used almost identical supplies for this one + S4-530 Fancy Framed Tags Four. I skipped the brown paper and you can instantly see the difference here. I think brown adds a lot to the card and helps a lot of the die cut elements to stand out.

Yana – I love your cards. Can you tell me what kind of gold foil paper you use to cut out the Spellbinder die cuts??
thank you, Diane!
The one that I’m using is from Dovecraft, called Gold Mirror Card – http://www.trimcraft.co.uk/products/DCBS40/dovecraft-a4-gold-mirror-card
I’m linking to a similar product from Do Crafts in my blog post, but I see its currently out of stock at Simon Says Stamp.
World Win Papers also have cardstock like that, I’m not sure which stores carry their products.
