Hello friends! Once in awhile we all need to give encouragement cards to the people we love just to remind them that they can do it and they shouldn’t stop. So I created one to have on hand just in case.
Like this project? Pin it and save for later!
I used a few of my favorites from Altenew along with a new Spicy Yogurt cardstock. Usually I’m very skeptical about new papers, and I was skeptical about this one at first too, but after I saw my Ukrainian friend Sveta use it on her beautiful card I decided to give it a try.
I adhered one of the Fenstone Decorative Elements onto the card base using foam adhesive. Next I foam mounted the Hello die cut. I stamped the Hello from the Super Script stamp set 3 times using VersaFine Onyx Black ink (I was using my new Mini Misti stamp positioner), covered it with clear embossing powder, heat set it and die cut it.
I also used several leaves from the Peony Scrolls stamp set, heat embossed in gold onto Arches and watercolored using beautiful Olive Greeen color from the Daniel Smith Watercolor Sampler sheet. I cut those out using matching dies and tucked under the hello.
Finally I heat embossed You’ve got This from the Thinking of You stamp set onto same Yogurt cardstock and mounted over the hello die cut. I also added 3 clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh to dress up this otherwise simple card.

Yana, what a beautiful encouragement card! So rich and classic. That’s one of my most fav color combos, you can never go wrong with gold. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
So very beautiful and elegant – thank you 🙂
Yana, this is simply gorgeous. You have a way of making something so simple look so elegant.
This card is pure beauty!
