Hello all! I am in urgent need of vitamin SEA, sunshine and palm trees. Do you ever feel like that? I was inspired by the unique I need vitamin SEA sentiment from Simon Says Stamp and created two very simple cards.

VIDEO TUTORIAL
I’ve filmed a video tutorial to show you how to create this project. Watch below or on Youtube:
CARD DETAILS
I used a fun Pool Play stamp set and heat embossed a little girl image in Antique Gold embossing powder onto Arches Cold Press Watercolor Paper. I feel using non white embossing powder when heat embossing and then watercolor people images gives better results. I used Distress inks and watercolored this little cutie (used Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Gather’s Twigs).
I also created a water-like ink smooshed background using Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers inks on a watercolor panel to house the little girl die cut. I heat embossed I Need Vitamin SEA sentiment in the top part of the panel. Over all this is a very simple card, but its really fun to make. The ink smooshing always turns out different and no two ink smooshed backgrounds are ever alike. You might also notice I added a layer of Glossy Accents to the girls mask, this is one of my first attempts at using Glossy Accents like this, the important lesson here is to not let your cat near the image lol!
