Winnie & Walter: Celebrate Today

Hi everyone! I’m excited to be guest designing for a wonderful stamp company this month – Winnie & Walter. I have been a fan of their designs, especially the Big, the Bold series for a long-long time!

Here’s a card I made using some of their fabulous products:

For this project I used a Scenery: Persuasion Script Creative Screenings stencil and created a background using texture paste. I love the way it turned out – this makes for a fun a bit of a mixed media card.

I also stamped and cut out a big bold LOVE using a stamp from the The Big, the Bold, and the Happy set. The font is one of my favorites!

Next I used the The Big, the Bold and Extras set to create flowers and a banner for my card. I love that each of the element has an outline and a solid image – there’s no need for coloring using pencils or markers this way.

Finally I stamped a few black dots directly onto a textured background to finish my project.
